When our colleague Keith Bontrager built his reputation creating indestructible bicycle frames in his garage in the 1980s, he didn't know he was launching one of the most ubiquitous brands in cycling history. Many things have changed since he joined forces with Trek, but the main thing remains the same. Our design is based on the same initial principles, if we can't find what we want, then we have to do it ourselves. It's true that the tools we use today are a little more modern, but the goal remains the same: design it, build it, assemble it, love it. Share it with the world.
