The SRAM DUB bottom bracket has been created to have a much better seal, last longer, reduce weight and ensure that all bottom bracket systems have the same performance, regardless of their size. 28.9 mm in diameter is the measurement that SRAM has found to be ideal for achieving high rigidity and light weight, allowing better sealing of the bearings, which makes them more durable. DUB specific bottom bracket bearings are compatible with any frame, with rare exceptions, and are available in 4 versions: BSA (threaded), PressFit, BB30 and PressFit30.
