BELL SUPER DH SPHERICAL HELMET

Developed at Dome Bell+Giro and in collaboration with MIPS®, Spherical Technology's unique Ball-and-Socket rotational impact absorption design redirects impact forces, featuring market-leading design, performance and brain protection while still maintaining side comfort, ventilation, weight or style. Beyond this, the Super DH comes packed with features including a 360º wrap-around chinstrap removable without the need for tools, robust enough to comply with ASTM 1952 regulations, openings to accommodate large goggles, a height-adjustable visor, a camera piece with clip attachment, Overbrow ventilation and X-Static padding, along with a high-quality fit that is incomparable to any other.
In the final result we obtain demanding protection and performance and unparalleled versatility.

PROGRESSIVE LAYERS

Two layers of foam are used; a hard shell on the outer shell closer to the potential point of impact and a less dense one closer to the head.

Each layer has a thin molded shell, allowing our engineers to optimize the fit in more sophisticated ways and design helmets that safely withstand more impacts.

SPHERICAL MIPS

Developed in the Giro laboratory in collaboration with MIPS®, Spherical Technology allows the rotation of the outer layer to rotate around the inner layer during a crash, and eliminates the contact of a rigid plastic against the skin. Another of the biggest advantages of Spherical Technology is the progressive layered construction with dual-density inner lining to address high and low speed impacts for more complete energy management.

INTEGRATED REMOVABLE CAMERA MOUNT

The Super DH's seamless frame requires no zip ties or tape and is specially designed to detach on impact to reduce the risk of injury.

FLOAT FIT DH

The new Float Fit DH is a lightweight, ultra-comfortable fit system that features an easy-to-turn rubber disc for adjustments.

REMOVABLE CHIN PROTECTOR

The detachable wrap-around chin guard design revolutionized trail helmets. Now, with the Super DH, you also have the security of a DH. You don't need any tools, just turn three buckles and go from smooth and calm climbs to dynamic descents.

SUITABLE FOR GLASSES

Need a break from your glasses? You can raise the adjustable visor of the DH to have enough space to store them on climbs or in the race and at the same time have them on hand for when you need them.
