Bead2Bead HD Protection
The high-density protection technology consists of textile fibers that, woven transversely, form a high-density (HD) protective layer. This allows a very good compromise between significant puncture resistance and low rolling resistance without compromising the weight of Michelin competition tires.

Since its invention by Michelin and its introduction into the racing field in 1986, Michelin's research and development team has continuously worked year after year to improve the performance of the protective layer. The HD Protection Bead2Bead version is optimized for racing use.
