  • To enable X-Range gear technology, we developed a narrower chainring.
  • The unique link shape of Flattop technology not only allows for a wider gear range, but also results in quieter drivetrain operation and increased chain strength and durability.
• POWERLOCK
  • SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock® as a tool-free, secure and consistent way to connect our chains.
  • While PowerLock® requires no special tools for installation, the especially tight tolerances of 10-, 11-, and 12-speed transmissions require that each PowerLock® be good for only a one-time application.
• X-RANGE
  • Road bikes are faster and more capable than ever, and riders are expanding what's possible with drop bar bikes.
  • X-Range is gearing up for today's road cycling.
  • We've completely redesigned the road gear for a wider range, more purposeful and smoother gear progression, as well as a smarter shift setup, enabled by AXS.

• X-SYNC
  • SRAM X-SYNC 1x chainrings provide the highest level of performance and durability.
  • SRAM X-SYNC's tall square tooth edges engage the chain before traditional triangle-shaped teeth.
  • The sharp, narrow tooth profile, as well as the rounded chamfer edges, help handle a deflected chain.
  • To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, X-SYNC chainrings have been designed with mud clearance recesses for the inner chain links and rollers.
  • Designed in Germany, X-SYNC rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x drivetrain.
